About Us

Who we are:

Welcome to our congregation! You are among people who worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and celebrate the redemption brought to the world by Y-shua (Jesus) the Messiah!

We welcome and embrace all those who wish to learn more about the Hebrew roots of Christianity. We encourage you to join us in learning to worship our Savior in the manner in which He most likely worshipped. We hope you will explore with us while we focus on the way of life portrayed in the Holy Scriptures, bringing us ever closer to our Savior as we begin to understand Him better in the context of the Jewish Rabbi that He personified.

Our Sabbath Day Activities

11:00 Formal Torah Service

Join us at this time and you will experience a liturgical Torah Service, Torah processional and Midrash. You will also experience Hebraic praise and worship dance and song. Those familiar with traditional synagogue service will recognize the prayers that are used at this time. This is a wonderful time to learn and become comfortable with the beauty of Hebrew worship. All liturgy is done in both Hebrew and English.

1:00-2:00 Oneg Shabbat

Enjoy a covered dish fellowship with Brothers and Sisters. There is always plenty, and we serve only Biblically clean foods.

2:00-4:00 Torah Study

A time of informal study with Bibles and study helps out on the table. It is a time when questions when questions and sharing of insights is welcome from all! Stay for an hour, or all day!

Things You may See Here:

During worship and prayer times many of our men wear a Tallit (prayer shawl), and some of our women wear a head covering of some sort. These items are often worn to show our deference to G-d and show our reverence toward Him.

You may also see a Torah processional. The Torah scroll is paraded around the sanctuary during worship, and some members of the congregation will reach out and touch it with their Bibles or Tallit corners. With these actions we are showing reference to the WORD of G-d, who is Y-shua. Please do not mistake it for worship of the scroll itself.

Some people will get up and dance during the praise and worship time. You are welcome to join in if you wish. You can learn the dances on Shabbats at 4:00 pm. Join us to learn more about this beautiful expression of worship.

What we believe:

We believe that Y-shua is our savior and His death and resurrection were made to atone for our sins. This does not eliminate the need to follow Torah in obedience to His word. We believe in G-d's everlasting covenant relationship with the Jewish people including the land of Israel.

We believe in the "grafting in" of the Gentile believer that commits to live our this covenant as a way of life. Once this commitment is made we see no difference between Jew and Gentile unless he is a Cohen. We believe in the keeping of the "Appointed Times" (Shabbat and Holy Days) as denoted in the Scriptures to the best of our abilities while we reside outside the land of Israel, following the Jewish calendar.
